Terms and Conditions

These Terms & Conditions have important information about paying, delivery, cancellation, copyright, photographs and the guarantee. Please ensure you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions before ordering your portrait.

Payment

Portraits are dispatched when payment has been made in full. Payment is due when you have seen and approved your portrait by email. I would ask you approve within 3 days please. A £10 non-refundable deposit is required upon ordering your portrait when you are booked in.  Portraits will not be started until this deposit has been received.

 

 Lead and DeliveryTimes

Standard lead times are between 3 - 6 weeks, if I require more time, you will be notified. Portraits are sent by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery, should you require Next Day Special Delivery please inform me. You will be emailed when your portrait is dispatched as you will need to sign for the delivery.

Clients Overseas please contact me for delivery costs.

Cancellation

If you wish to cancel your commision please notify me as soon as possible by email. Your £10 deposit will not be refunded.  Portraits cancelled more than 14 days after your order conformation date incur an additional cancellation charge of £10 plus 4% of the total cost. Photographs

By sending me photograph(s) of your pet you are confirming that you either own the copyright to the photograph(s) or have gained permission and/or a license from the the copyright owner to grant me a license to use the photograph(s) for producing your portrait from and in advertising material for an indefinite period of time. Further, in sending me the photograph(s), you agree to indemnify me against any costs arising from claims made against me by persons claming to own the copyright

Copyright

Please note that I retain full rights, including copyright and reproduction rights, in all my artwork, commissioned or otherwise. Artwork is commissioned for personal use only and may not be reproduced or used for financial gain without my written permission.

  Please let me know if you do not agree to my adding your portrait to my online gallery.

If you are unhappy with your portrait, then there is no fee and the artwork remains mine, along with the copyright and the right to display and/or sell it to a third party.

Satisfaction Guarantee

If you are not 100% satisfied with your portrait and you return it safely wrapped and undamaged within 14 days you will receive a full refund including your deposit.

 Portraits returned damaged and/or after 14 days will not be refunded.
